We are growing our technical team, and now is the perfect time for an experienced Workplace Technology Manager to join our team onsite at our Malta Head office!

As a Workplace Technology Manager at Fast Track, you will be focused on:
IT Support and Troubleshooting:
Be the point of contact for all internal IT support matters and provide first-line technical support for employees in the offices and during company events, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Collaborate closely with Office Managers and local management in all office locations as well as other stakeholders to anticipate IT needs for upcoming meetings, events, and special office requirements.
Proactively monitor and maintain IT systems, identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact employees or business operations.
Ensure meeting rooms, AV systems, and Wi-Fi are always optimised for high-stakes business moments, such as client meetings, company-wide updates, and executive presentations.
Maintain IT documentation, guidelines, and training materials for employees.
Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and troubleshooting.
Equipment and Inventory Management:
Manage the provisioning, maintenance, and tracking of IT equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance.
Handle repairs, securely wipe departing employee devices, and prepare second-hand equipment for reissue.
Manage employee access to company tools, develop IT policies, and coordinate with stakeholders on equipment needs.
Onboarding and Offboarding:
Design and implement a frictionless IT onboarding experience, ensuring new employees are fully equipped with the necessary technology on their first day
Oversee IT equipment and access management, ensuring secure provisioning, compliance, and decommissioning of devices and company tools.
Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to tailor IT onboarding processes to employee roles and technical requirements
Develop a rapid IT response system for new hires, ensuring all technical issues are resolved within their first week.
Software and Access Management:
Administer user accounts, permissions, and security settings across company tools.
Ensure proper software installation, updates, and compliance with security policies.
Manage and implement security and access control measures, including door access systems.
Optimisation of IT processes, practices, and tooling.
Advanced Networking Support:
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including VPN and firewall configurations.
Proactively test and monitor Google Meet hardware and meeting rooms weekly, identifying and resolving issues before they impact employees.
Conduct weekly network audits, ensuring reliable Wi-Fi coverage and replacing faulty equipment before it causes disruptions.
Configure and maintain routers, switches, and other networking hardware.
Optimise office Wi-Fi in all office locations globally and ensure reliable connectivity for employees.
Workplace Technology Strategy and Budget
The Workspace Tech Stack includes all employee equipment such as laptops, phones, and accessories, the office wiring, networking / WiFi, access systems, surveillance, and all other connected and mission-critical workplace devices such as meeting hardware, printers, coffee machines
Work closely with the senior leadership to develop our workspace technology strategy and ensure aligned efforts regarding our setup.
Assume ownership of the workplace technology stack and budget and ensure we have cost-effective solutions, partnerships, and scalable and modern hardware, software,e and technology stack

Information Security, Best Practices and Knowledge Sharing
Support the information security team so that all our people are onboarded, understand and follow our information security guidelines
Ongoing knowledge sharing and support to share best practices to ensure we use the workspace technology in the best way
Job requirements
- Proven ability to proactively identify and solve IT challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Experience in managing IT for high-impact events, including executive meetings, large-scale presentations, and client engagements.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate IT-related needs and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, quickly adapting to evolving IT requirements.
