Join our team as a Solution Engineer and empower sales with technical expertise while ensuring seamless CRM integrations that bridge partners, product, and tech at Fast Track.
As a Solution Engineer, your core responsibility is to act as a technical enabler for the sales team, ensuring a seamless bridge between sales, product, and tech teams. You will be the go-to expert for handling technical sales conversations, validating CRM integrations, and ensuring smooth handovers to the Integration team. Your role requires a deep understanding of Fast Track CRM's architecture, APIs, integrations, and best practices, allowing you to guide prospects and clients through technical feasibility discussions while aligning solutions with their needs.
A significant aspect of the role involves joining sales and pre-sales calls to handle technical inquiries, ensuring that the potential partner fully understands how Fast Track CRM integrates with their existing systems and workflows. By clarifying technical concerns and validating feasibility and technical scope early in the sales process, you enhance the partner experience and sales efficiency while preventing misalignment between the partner's expectations and implementation capabilities.
Beyond supporting the sales process, you will play a key role in tracking technical requests, ensuring they are properly documented, validated and relayed to the Integration team for action.
Additionally, your role involves staying ahead of market trends and working closely with the product and tech teams to ensure Fast Track CRM remains competitive. By identifying common partner use cases, feature requests, industry shifts, and you provide valuable insights that shape the product roadmap.
Success in this role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and cross-functional collaboration. You will act as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and partners alike, ensuring a smooth technical experience from pre-sales to implementation.
Your responsibilities as a Solution Engineer at Fast Track would include:
Sales and Partner Engagement
Drive successful pre-sales conversions by managing technical discussions, scoping the integration complexity and clearly articulating Fast Track CRM’s capabilities.
Enable sales teams and partners to make informed decisions by translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly insights.
Advise partners on best technical best practices and roadmap alignment
Accelerate deal closure by assessing and qualifying the technical feasibility of partner use cases and integrations.
Facilitate seamless client integration onboarding by leading technical handovers and kickoff meetings, providing ongoing support as needed
Technical Execution and Quality Assurance
Ensure smooth project execution by reviewing and approving technical requirements before implementation.
Design custom integration architecture and optimise API integrations, message brokering, and CRM workflows to enhance system performance and reliability.
Drive best practices in CRM implementation and data management to maximise partner success.
Cross-team Collaboration
Improve follow-up efficiency by systematically tracking and documenting technical requests from sales calls for the Integration Management team.
Align Fast Track CRM’s evolution with partner needs by collaborating closely with Partner Success, Product, Tech, and Commercial teams.
Market and Industry Insights
Strengthen Fast Track’s market position by analysing trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
Enhance CRM capabilities by staying ahead of industry advancements and continuously improving technical solutions.
Sales Enablement and Knowledge Sharing
Boost sales effectiveness by creating technical documentation, playbooks, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Job requirements
Proven experience in SaaS, CRM solutions, or technical sales support.
Strong technical knowledge of CRM platforms, APIs, integrations, and automation workflows.
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting.
Experience working with RESTful APIs, message brokering systems Kafka, RabbitMQ, and webhooks.
Experience with technical investigation, troubleshooting, and system blueprinting.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with sales, tech, and product teams.
Familiarity with CRM implementation, strategy, and third-party tool evaluations.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse technical challenges and propose solutions and able adapt to a dynamic Partner changing environment
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to identify market trends and align them with product development and CRM strategies.
Strong attention to detail in technical documentation and requirement validation.
Experience with cloud platforms AWS and BI tools is a plus.
Knowledge of security and compliance standards GDPR, SOC2 is a plus.
