We are expanding our Product team with a Senior Product Designer based onsite in our office in Barcelona!

As a Senior Product Designer at Fast Track, you will take the lead on complex projects, collaborating seamlessly while guiding and supporting your team. You will champion a user-centric approach, ensuring a consistent and visually stunning brand experience. From perfecting every pixel to obsessing over typography, you will bring an eye for detail that others might overlook, making everything look just right.


Main Responsibilities


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.

  • Project Ownership: Project manage design projects from start to finish, including planning, expectation management, prioritisation, scoping, ideation, conceptualisation and production.

  • Idea Conceptualisation: Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity, efficiency and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.

  • Design Creation: Create wireframes, prototype, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

  • Presentation & Communication: Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders. Use data and market insights to support your cases where applicable.

  • User Research & Insights: Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to deeply understand our end-users. Synthesise findings into actionable insights that inform design improvements.

  • Design Guidelines: Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

  • Continuous Improvement: Actively identify areas of improvement within the product and proactively seek out innovative solutions to enhance user experience and address potential challenges and align with business goals.

  • Master Design Tools and Methodologies: Proficiency in core skills of design tools and methodologies in order to execute tasks with precision and efficiency while delivering solutions up to the company’s standards.

  • Lead Complex Design Initiatives: Take ownership of larger, more complex projects, driving them from concept to completion with minimal guidance, while ensuring they meet user needs and business objectives.

  • Support:Guide and support product designers, providing clear, constructive feedback and creating opportunities for them to learn, grow, and contribute effectively to the team.

  • Strategic Contribution: Work closely with the department leaders and play a key role in shaping the design strategy, contributing to thought leadership within the team and the broader organisation.

Job requirements

  • Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be considered a plus.
  • BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related.
