Job description

Become our Product Counsel and shape Fast Track’s product design and compliance, safeguarding IP and implementing scalable legal solutions in a fast-moving SaaS environment.

The Product Legal Counsel will join Fast Track’s lean Legal function, currently made up of one legal professional, offering immediate visibility and the chance to shape the company’s legal approach from the ground up. Working side by side with Product, Tech, Marketing, and other stakeholders, the role focuses on product-centric legal enablement, building compliance infrastructure, and infuencing the company’s intellectual property strategy.

This position owns product-related regulatory compliance across key jurisdictions, ensuring the platform meets licensing requirements, adapts to market-specific constraints, and is accurately represented in public-facing materials. It also plays a central part in supporting GDPR considerations for product features, embedding AI governance into operations, and protecting Fast Track’s proprietary innovations.

Operating in a fast-paced SaaS and iGaming environment, the role requires translating complex regulatory frameworks into practical, scalable tools such as jurisdictional feature maps, compliance risk registers, and internal playbooks, in a constantly evolving regulatory and technological landscape.

This is an opportunity to specialise in product counselling and take a leading role in executing the regulatory strategy of an innovation-driven company. Fast Track’s collaborative culture allows legal expertise to directly influence product design, market positioning, and the company’s long-term competitive edge, while tackling practical challenges in AI governance, international compliance, and IP strategy.

Your responsibilities as a Product Counsel at Fast Track would include:

Product-Centric Legal Enablement

  • Act as the primary legal advisor embedded in the Product function.

  • Own product-related regulatory compliance for all key jurisdictions (MGA, UKGC, SG…).

  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure all public representations of the product are legally compliant, especially regarding automation, AI capabilities, or market-specific constraints.

  • Support the broader Legal function on GDPR matters relating to product features.

Compliance Infrastructure and Risk Management

  • Build and maintain internal tools such as jurisdictional feature maps, compliance risk registers, and internal FAQ/playbooks.

  • Partner with HR to embed AI governance and monitoring into Fast Track’s day-to-day operations across all functions.

Intellectual Property Strategy and Protection

  • Influence and execute the company’s intellectual property protection strategy, including internal IP review processes, identification of registrable assets, and filing coordination (e.g., trademarks, copyrights).

Job requirements

  • Master’s degree in Law, with a focus on digital law, intellectual property law, technology law, or iGaming regulation.

  • Proven track record working as a legal counsel or lawyer within a SaaS company, iGaming business or law firm advising clients in iGaming, SaaS, or emerging tech, ideally in a product-facing, regulatory, or platform-focused role.

  • Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, with the ability to engage meaningfully with technical and product teams.

  • Familiarity with iGaming regulatory frameworks (e.g., MGA, UKGC, SGA), or readiness to deep dive into these frameworks and own product-level compliance.

  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills to be able to clearly explain legal issues to non-lawyers and adapt advice to different business contexts.

  • Self-driven and structured, capable of building and maintaining internal tools and processes (e.g., risk registers, playbooks, compliance documentation).
