Job description

We are looking for an extremely organised and passionate People and Culture Coordinator to join our fast-paced team based onsite in our Malta Office!

As a People and Culture Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with the rest of the People Growth team to contribute to our objective of being a World-Class employer. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our team and ensuring a seamless employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. From onboarding new talent to supporting various HR initiatives and helping us optimise our processes, you’ll be a key player in building a people-first culture in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Your responsibilities as a People and Culture Coordinator at Fast Track would include:

Employee Lifecycle

  • Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring smooth employee transitions and positive experiences.

  • Maintain and update employee records and data in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Managing work permit renewals and supporting employees with relocation

  • Prepare employment-related documents such as contracts, letters, and amendments.
    Assist with probation, performance, and development cycle administration.

  • Support the People Growth team in implementing people growth initiatives, policies, and processes

Learning, Growth & Development

  • Help coordinate training sessions and learning initiatives (scheduling, logistics, tracking attendance, follow-up).

  • Maintain learning records and support the People Growth team in tracking progress and participation.

Building Trust and Collaboration:

  • Be a main point of contact within the People & Culture team for general employee queries

  • Collaborate with other members of the People and Culture team and support them with administrative tasks and coordination of other people-related initiatives, processes and events as needed

  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold People & Culture data integrity

Job requirements

  • Work experience as an HR Generalist, HR Administrator, HR Assistant or similar role

  • Positive and energetic

  • Experience with Bamboo HR or any related HR Management Platform

  • Good knowledge of Maltese labour law and awareness of best practices 

  • Have a genuine interest in learning and finding ways to improve systems and processes 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing work environment

  • Adaptable and future-focused

  • Have strong written and verbal English communication skills

  • Tech-savvy - prefers digital, modern and agile HR practices; can easily navigate Google Suite, Slack, and collaborative tools, etc.
