Lead Fast Track’s marketing function as Marketing Director, driving strategy, operational excellence, and commercial impact across Events and Digital teams in a fast-growth environment


Fast Track is scaling rapidly, and the Marketing function needs an operational leader who can run the departments of Events and Digital efficiently whilst maintaining quality and driving commercial outcomes. This role will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and be accountable for delivering agreed strategies that support Fast Track’s vision to digitalise the igaming industry and deliver the first self-learning engagement platform.

The Marketing Director will manage the departments of Events and Digital and be the direct manager of the Head of Events and the Head of PR and Digital Marketing, who are leading high-performing teams across events, digital/PR, and partner marketing functions.


This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can balance strategic thinking with operational excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-growth environments, genuinely enjoys developing people, and understands how marketing drives business outcomes beyond just brand awareness.

Your responsibilities as a Marketing Director at Fast Track would include:

Operational Leadership

  • Run day-to-day marketing operations, ensuring smooth execution across all functions

  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for optimal efficiency

  • Establish operational rhythms and cadences that create predictability and accountability

  • Remove blockers and solve problems before they escalate

Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of function heads (Events, PR & Digital, Partner Marketing)

  • Build strategic thinking and commercial capabilities across the team

  • Conduct regular one-on-ones focused on growth and skill development

  • Create succession planning and career pathways for high performers

Commercial Marketing

  • Drive commercial outcomes from all marketing activities, particularly events

  • Ensure events function focuses on lead generation and ROI, not just logistics

  • Align marketing activities with sales pipeline goals and revenue targets

  • Report on marketing performance with clear commercial metrics

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the Commercial team on lead generation strategy and campaign planning

  • Collaborate with Product on launch planning and go-to-market execution

  • Work with Partner Success on retention marketing and advocacy programmes

  • Coordinate with Finance on budget management and marketing investment ROI

Strategic Partnership with CMO

  • Act as a trusted partner to the CMO on strategic marketing decisions

  • Provide an operational perspective on strategic initiatives

  • Take full ownership of execution, freeing CMO for strategic work

  • Represent marketing in leadership meetings when the CMO is unavailable

Performance Management

  • Set clear objectives and KPIs for all marketing functions

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback

  • Identify skill gaps and create development plans

  • Manage underperformance decisively but fairly

Job requirements

  • 8+ years of marketing experience with a minimum of 3 years in senior leadership roles or equivalent proven experience

  • Proven track record managing multi-functional marketing teams (10+ people)

  • Strong operational excellence - demonstrated ability to create and run efficient systems

  • Commercial acumen - understands marketing's role in driving revenue

  • People development experience - track record of growing team capability

  • B2B marketing experience, preferably in the SaaS or tech sector

  • Experience working in fast-growth environments

  • Excellent communication skills - can engage and influence at all levels

  • Strong analytical skills - comfortable with data and performance metrics

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

Nice-to-haves:

  • iGaming industry experience

  • Experience with event marketing and lead generation

  • Exposure to AI/ML products or technical product marketing

  • Advanced project management certification

  • Experience managing teams across multiple locations

  • Track record of successful team restructuring or scaling
