Job description

We are looking for an extremely passionate HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic team onsite in our Malta Office!


As our HR Business Partner (HRBP) function grows within the company, you will ensure all HR activities are aligned with people leaders’ priorities across the business. You will be expected to coach, advise, and support our people leaders in all aspects of employee relations and HR and build future-proof people plans supporting the business strategy.

We think that this role is attractive for a candidate who is an experienced HR Business Partner passionate about strategic and agile HR to help build organisational and people capabilities to drive high performance and build high-trust work environments.



Your responsibilities as an HR Business Partner at Fast Track would include:


  • Trusted Advisor to Leaders: Act as a trusted advisor to team leaders, providing coaching, guidance, and support in all aspects of employee relations.

  • Employee Relations: Establish strong relationships with employees. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.

  • People Plans and Strategy Support: Deliver on people plans that support the business strategy, ensuring effective employee process management, performance management, and employee engagement.

  • HR Initiatives and Strategies: Suggest and design new HR initiatives and strategies.

  • Talent Retention: Develop and drive retention strategies to ensure Fast Track has the right talent in place.

  • Performance, Learning, and Development Initiatives: Design, implement, monitor, and evaluate performance, training and development initiatives and programs.

  • Policy and Process Development: Work closely with the Head of HR Operations, Chief People Officer and other HR team members to design and implement local and global HR policies and processes.

  • Project and Initiative Management: Manage local and global HR initiatives and projects.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • An experienced HR professional with a proven track record of successfully partnering with business leaders and driving HR initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical decision-making.

  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to foster data-driven decision-making.

  • Experience leading and managing change initiatives

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) and active listening skills, enabling you to build trust and rapport with different departments at Fast Track.

  • Adept at navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing business needs.

  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.

  • A growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • Tech-savvy - You have the necessary technical skill and experience needed to perform the role. You are well-informed about modern technology, have a curiosity and understanding to stay agile and open to new technological and disruptive developments and advancements
