Join Fast Track as our Event Manager and take the lead in creating world-class events that showcase our brand globally, connect industry leaders, and deliver unforgettable experiences

The Event Manager plays a key role in representing the Fast Track brand globally through strategic event planning and flawless execution. This role is responsible for coordinating conferences, trade shows, networking dinners, and corporate events that align with Fast Track’s goals and enhance brand visibility. Working closely with the Commercial, Marketing, and Operations teams, the Event Manager ensures that every event delivers exceptional value, strengthens partnerships, and reflects Fast Track’s culture of excellence.

Based in Malta for close coordination with the Head of Events and supporting teams.

Your responsibilities as an Event Manager at Fast Track would include:

Event Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement event concepts, themes, and formats aligned with company objectives.

  • Collaborate in the creation of annual event calendars and plans in collaboration with commercial and marketing teams.

  • Prepare detailed event proposals, budgets, and schedules for management approval.

Event Execution & Logistics

  • Coordinate all operational aspects of events, including venue selection, supplier management, sponsorships, and partner relationships.

  • Manage contracts, bookings, and logistics for vendors, exhibitors, and speakers.

  • Oversee registration, ticketing, and guest communications.

  • Coordinate staff allocation and on-site support.

  • Supervise setup, live management, and post-event breakdown.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop pre- and post-event campaigns.

  • Promote events through digital and physical channels to maximise attendance and visibility.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all event materials and communications.

Budget & Financial Management

  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to financial targets.

  • Negotiate supplier and venue contracts for optimal pricing and value.

  • Track expenses, generate reports, and evaluate cost-saving opportunities.

Quality, Risk, and Performance

  • Maintain a detailed risk register and mitigation plan for each event.

  • Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during events calmly and professionally.

  • Evaluate event success through feedback, KPIs, and post-event reports.

  • Identify and implement improvements to event processes.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in event planning and management, ideally within large-scale conferences or exhibitions.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills with a detail-oriented approach.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and perform under pressure.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and event management software.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and negotiate with suppliers.

  • Knowledge of industry trends and event best practices.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Project Management experience working with PRINCE2 or Agile methodologies

  • Knowledge of iGaming industry and experience organising trade shows
